Future Education: Building 21st century learners

Designing Future Education

for creators and thinkers....

I completed my PhD in Computer Science & STEM Education from the Teacher Education and Learning Leadership Unit of the Faculty of Education, the University of Hong Kong in 2023. My research and teaching interests focus on the pedagogical and curricula designs for effective learning in STEM Education, Computer Science Education and the associated emerging technologies including Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Augmented Reality. I adopt cross-disciplinary approaches in my enquiries to account for the macro and micro-level factors that influence both students’ and teachers’ abilities at various educational levels. Specifically, my works tackle the shortcomings of isolated learning and siloed teaching of school subjects by exploring the integration of computational thinking in STEM education and evaluating the pedagogical effectiveness.
